Biography
Simeon Short was of Cortland NY. 1809, Bergen NY. In 1818 he is listed in a Land transaction in Ontario, New York. In 1820, he is listed in Mount Morris, Genesee, New York. 1820, Livonia NY. 1821. Came to Hume, NY 1826 from Ossian NY., "History of Allegany County" says they were from Rhode Island.
Simeon died at Fillmore, Allegany, New York, and is interned in Pine Grove Cemetery.
