MARY BERRY swears on oathe that in Rockingham Co, VA, she lived about 3 more mile from David Maunger's, Christopher Haines' step-father, in 1781 and well remembers the marching of Cap. Rogen with his company for Richmond and that Haines was a soldier in said company. CHRISTOPHER HAINES was married to my sister in Rockingham a short time before he was said to have been drafted in 1781
