Biography
Julia Ann Shumway was born April, 4, 1864, in Wellsville, Cache, Utah. She was the daughter of Charles Shumway and Elizabeth Jardine.
She married Nephi Johnson, 1 Oct 1879 in St. George, Washington, Utah.
Her early years were spent at Johnson, Kane County, Utah where she met and married Nephi Johnson Jr. when she was fifteen years old. They were married in the St. George Temple on October 1, 1879. They rented Sixtus Johnson's home and Nephi carried the mail part way to Paria that winter.
