Biography

Mabel was the third of seven children in the family of Charles Siegfried and Lillie Kipp Siegfreid,^[1] who were originally from Iowa. She grew up on farms in Lyman^[2] and Lake Counties^[3] in South Dakota, but later moved with her family to Chamberlain, South Dakota.^[4]

She married Roland Bartlett in 1934. They lived in his family home for a time^[5], before moving to Denver, where Roland had a position with Gates Rubber Co.

They were the parents of two daughters.

Mabel died at age 77.^[6]
