G. E. Hufman, age 44, son of Levy and Lavina Huffman, and Alice Hartsoe, age 36, daughter of Max and Hariet Sigman, were married 11 December 1910 at Mack Sigman’s residence in Hickory by Geo. A. Romoser, Minister of the Evangelical Lutheran Church.[4]
Alice Sigmon Huffman, born 8 January 1874 in Catawba County, North Carolina, died 24 January 1970 at Richard Baker Hospital in Hickory, Catawba County. Widowed. Father Maxwell A. Sigmon. Mother Harriett Turner. Informant: Mrs. Everett Eckard of Hickory, N.C. Burial at St. Stephens Lutheran Church Cemetery in Hickory.[5]
