Biography

Relationships between historical figures could have been simplified or even fabricated in the text to give the impression that succession remained within the same family….Precise chronology is also difficult to assess from the Sagas….The conclusion must be that the tight family network described in the Sagas is unlikely to be correct and that the relationships shown below should be treated with considerable caution.

Sigurdsdottir-53 and Sigurdsdottir-24 appear to represent the same person because: No info on either of them. It is not sound genealogy to add profiles from the 700's that are almost impossible to source. Females are not mentioned in the sagas very often.

Sigurdsdottir-53 and Sgurdsdottir-1 appear to represent the same person because: Even if there was a dozen unknown siblings the added value of keeping profiles for them would be debatable. There is a 30 day wait before a merge is defaulted please use it for questions rather than blocking the merge process.

Sgurdsdottir-1 and Sigurdsdottir-53 are not ready to be merged because: Can they be siblings?

Sgurdsdottir-1 and Sigurdsdottir-53 appear to represent the same person because: Seems only to be spelling on Sgurdsdottir that makes these two profiles different.
