The son of John Metcalfe and Rosamond Metcalfe, William Metcalfe, was born 6 July 1823 in Stalling Busk, Yorkshire, England. [5]
Married name may be METCALFE
Could not find evidence on a son, GEOGE SILL. If he was Metcalf’s son, he would have surname METCALF. Rosamond’s father is named George Sill, so the son may be entered in error? Also, George was born in 1817; Rosamond and John Metcalf married in 1819. She could have been married previously, to a SILL.
