Biography

Euna was born in 1896. She is the daughter of Thomas Simmons and Carrie Boyd. ^[1]^[2]

She is the daughter of Tom and Carrie Simmons. She was born in the Silver Creek community near Dykes Crossing, Pike County, Mississippi. She married Walter Jones Simmons Sr. on February 2, 1915. They had three children: Walter Jones, Jr., Lucy Juanita, and Wendell McClung. This was a union of a Silver Creek Simmons and a Bala Chitto Simmons. ^[3] She had many adoring nephews and nieces, being the only surviving daughter.
