Biography

Loyt was born in 1899. He is the son of Thomas Simmons and Carrie Boyd. ^[1]He died enroute home to Jackson Ms from a hunting trip. He married (2) Georgia Clymer in 1916 in Illinois. Georgia was born in1906 in Anniston, Missouri and died in 1939 in Cairo Illinois at the age of 32. They had one daughter, Betty Jane, born in 1928 at Panther Creek, Illinois. He then married Earline Ward McNair, daughter of Earl Ward and Ethel. She was born in circa 1907 in Mississippi and died in Jackson, Hinds, MS

Child:

1. Betty Jane Simmons Alexander, born 1928, Panther Creek, Cass, Il. and died in 1985 in Lindale Texas. She married Richard Lash Alexander, son of Edward Everett Alexander and Martha Lash. He was born in 1923 in Lake wood Cuyahoga, Ohio and died in 2013 in Tyler Texas.
