Benjamin Simmons, son of John Simmons and Mercy Pabodie, who was a descendant of John Alden and Priscilla Mullins of the Mayflower 1620, was born about 1678-80 at Duxbury, Plymouth Colony.[1][2]
First Marriage
Benjamin married first, Lora Samson, his second cousin, at Duxbury on January 3, 1705/6. Lora was the daughter of Caleb Samson and Mercy Standish, both of whom were descendants of Mayflower passengers. She was born probably at Duxbury around 1688.[1][2]

Lora and Benjamin lived at Duxbury where they had five children, all born at Duxbury.[1][2]

Lora Simmons died at Duxbury between December 16, 1715 (date of birth of her last child) and June 16, 1718 (date of birth of Benjamin’s first child with his second wife).[1]
Second Marriage
According to sources, Benjamin Simmons married his second wife, Priscilla Delano, in Duxbury, Massachusetts, on July 7, 1715/[8] 1717.[2] Priscilla was born about 1696 at probably Duxbury, Plymouth. She died at Duxbury on 7 Feb 1746/1747.[1][2] Priscilla, a descendant of Myles Standish, John Alden and Priscilla Mullins of the Mayflower 1620, was Benjamin’s second cousin.

The children were born in Duxbury, Plymouth, Massachusetts.[1][2]
Benjamin married his third wife, Hannah (_____), after February 1746/1747. Hannah died after June 5, 1749[2] when in a division of Benjamin Simmons’ estate, a widow Hannah Simmons is mentioned.[1]
Death
Benjamin Simmons died at Duxbury before May 2, 1748 when the administration of his estate was granted to Benjamin Simmons, husbandman.[1]
In 1749, his property could not be divided without prejudice, so Aaron Simmons one of his son, took possession and paid his father's widow, Hannah, and his siblings, Zachariah Simmons (eldest son), Benjamin Simmons, Mercy Simmons, Content Simmons, Hannah Richards, wife of William Richards, Betty Simmons, Priscilla Simmons, and Abiah Simmons.[14]
