Simonton-225 and Simonton-38 appear to represent the same person because: Same person. Simonton-225 used to be connected to same parents if I recall correctly.

This Jane profile (Simonton-225) should be de-linked as a child for her parents. The birth and death locations are different from the other children, and it is unlikely that two daughters born 12 years apart were named Jane. The correct profile for Jane Simonton born ~1750 is Simonton-38.

Simonton-225 and Simonton-38 are not ready to be merged because: The Jane Simonton (in my tree, #225, b. 1738, d. 1806) married Samuel Brady 1763 in Cumberland, PA. In my tree, I have a JEAN Simonton, her sister, with the same b & d dates (1750-1799) as the Jane Simonton in #38 tree. My Jean Simonton was married to Nathanial Brittain.
