David Paul Simpson was born on 8 June 1931^[1] at Longview, Cowlitz County, Washington, USA.^[2] He appeared on the census of 3 May 1940 in the household of his parents, Harley Eugene Simpson and Golda Irene (Sears) (Hopkins) Simpson, at Greenwood Gulley Road, Jasper, Steuben County, New York.^[3]

He married Joanne Brutsman, daughter of Earl Brutsman and Etha E. (Paul) Brutsman, on 24 Dec 1955.^[2]

David died on 19 Jan. 1987^[1] at Troupsburg, Steuben County, New York, at age 55 and was buried at Mount Hope Cemetery, Troupsburg, Steuben County, New York.^[2] His memorial has the years of his birth and death.^[4]
