Biography

Harold George Simpson was born on 14 Nov. 1933[1] at Washington, USA. He appeared on the census of 3 May 1940 in the household of his parents, Harley Eugene Simpson and Golda Irene (Sears) (Hopkins) Simpson, at Greenwood Gulley Road, Jasper, Steuben County, New York. [2]

He began military service in the US Army in Oct. 1955 and trained at Ft. DIx, New Jersey.[3]

Harold joined the US Navy after his training in the US Army.[4]

Harold died on 7 Nov. 1963[1] at Cook County, Illinois, at age 29 near North Chicago, Ill.[4] and was buried at Woodlawn Cemetery, Canisteo, Steuben County, New York. His memorial has the years of his birth and death.[5]
