In 1851 Elizabeth was one of 3 daughters living with father John in Cirencester. John was an Agricultural Labourer and Elizabeth was a House Servant. [1]
On 23 October 1859 Elizabeth married Joseph Axton in Cirencester. Joseph was a Labourer, his father was a Weaver. Elizabeth's father John was a labourer. Martha Simpson was a witness. [2]
In 1871 Joseph and Elizabeth were living in Cirencester, in the household of John Simpson, Elizabeth's father. They had 5 children and also lived with Elizabeth's sister Mary Ann (now Bird) with her 3 sons. Joseph was a labourer in Iron Works. [3]
