In the 1871 census Isabella (age 57) was the wife of George Forrest in Backhill Cranboy, Old Machar, Aberdeenshire.^[1]

Isabella's death (age 86) was registered in 1899 in the St Machar district.^[2]

Research Notes

This is the only death listed with a Forrest - Simpson combination- the place is also where her husband died and in the year entered. it shows mothers maiden name as Catto which is at odds with the entered information. One is incorrect.
