Leah is the daughter of Laban Simpson and Esther Barns.
Leah was born circa 1762 at Accomack Co, VA (Stratton Nottingham, Accomack Co, VA, Wills & Administrations, 1663-1800, p. 271 (maternal grandfather's will))
Leah was named in her grandfather's will on 5 February 1773 at Accomack Co, VA. She was shown as my granddaughter Leah Simpson in the will of William Barns, wife Susannah. (Stratton Nottingham, Accomack Co, VA, Wills & Administrations, 1663-1800, p. 271 (will of William Barns, wife Susannah))
She married Evender Cameron before 12 June 1817. (Stratton Nottingham, Soldiers and Sailors of the Eastern Shore of Virginia In the Revolutionary War, p. 16)
