Biography
Diana Mary Elizabeth Simpson was the daughter of George Frederick Simpson. She married G/Capt. Maurice Vivian de Touffreville Fox-Strangways, 9th Earl of Ilchester, son of Walter Angelo Fox-Strangways, 8th Earl of Ilchester and Laure Georgine Emilie Mazaraki, on 29 November 1941. She died on 1 March 20112
Her married name became Fox-Strangways. As a result of her marriage, Diana Mary Elizabeth Simpson was styled as Countess of Ilchester on 4 October 1970.
