Biography

Ann was born 30 Aug 1808 and baptised 26 Sep 1808 in St. Paul (Church of England), Charlottetown, Prince Edward Island. [1] John Townsend McNeill and Anne Simpson were married 13 Feb 1838. [2]

They moved to St. Clair River, Canada West after 1851. [3] In 1861, they lived in Moore Township, Lambton, Canada West. Their children were Grace age 21, John 18 and Lucy 12. 2 year old Margaret Simpson lived with them. [4] They remained in Moore Township, and Ann was a widow with [John] Simpson and Lucy still with her in 1881. [5]

In 1881, Annie and Lucy (then Mrs. George Lester) went to live in West Bay, Michigan. In 1900, she lived with George and Lucy at 107 North Park Avenue. [6] Annie McNeill died of old age at 107 N. Park Avenue, in West Bay City, Michigan on 6 Apr 1905. Her remains were buried 8 Apr 1905 in Froomfield, Ontario. [7]
