Robert H Sims was enumerated as head of the household in ED 96 Precinct 11, 44, Jefferson County, Alabama for the June 16, United States Census, 1900. He was noted as a laundryman? and born December 1865 in Alabama. He had been married eleven years and was a renter as seen in an image of the original census. Also included in the household are wife Gussie L Sims, son Fred M Sims, son Walter S Sims, daughter Pear M Sims, daughter Gracie L Sims, son Horris H Sims and mother (mother-in-law) Francis Gillispie.^[1]

Robert H Sims was enumerated as head of the household at Precinct 15, Jefferson County, Alabama for the April 26, United States Census, 1910. He was noted as born 1865 in Alabama and married. He lists his occupation as a engineer on a stationary engine and he is a renter as seen in the image of the original census. Also included in the household are wife Gussie L Sims, son Fred Sims, daughter Pearlie Sims, daughter Gracie Sims, son Harrice Sims, daughter Rubie Sims and daughter Zoda Sims.^[2]
