Ruth Simms was enumerated as daughter of the head of household in Militia District 871 Lafayette Village, Walker County, Georgia for the June 4, United States Census, 1900. She was noted as born March 1890 in Georgia and single. Also included in the household are head Hugh A Simms, wife Capp? Simms, son Luke Simms, son Fleming Simms, son Hugh B Simms, boarder Joe Little and servant Walter Lang as seen in an image of the original census.[1]

Ruth Simes was enumerated as daughter of the head of household at North Main Street, Lafayette, Walker County, Georgia for the April 19, United States Census, 1910. She was noted as born 1890 in Georgia and single as seen in the image of the original census. Also included in the household are head Hew W Simes, wife Sappie Simes, son Luke Simes, son Fleming Simes, son Robert Simes, son Allen Simes, daughter Doris Simes and mother-in-law Eliza P Chastaine.[2]

Ruth S Phillips was enumerated as wife of the head of household at East Duval Street, Lake, Columbia County, Florida for the January 12, United States Census, 1920. She was noted as born 1891 in Georgia and married as seen in the image of the original census. Also included in the household are head William W Phillips, son Hal Phillips, son Bill Phillips, daughter Virginia Phillips, mother (mother-in-law) Cappa Simms and sister (sister-in-law) Dorris Simms.[3]

Ruth Phillips was enumerated as wife of the head of household in Madison Street, Lake City, Columbia County, Florida for the April 4, United States Census, 1930. She was noted as born 1894 in Georgia and married as seen in an image of the original census. Also included in the household are head William W Phillips, son William W Phillips Jr., daughter Virginia Phillips, daughter Elizabeth Phillips, mother-in-law Cappie Sims and sister-in-law Doris Sims.[4]
