Sims-6041 and Symes-8 appear to represent the same person because: I defer to you regarding spelling of surname. Several LDS sources agree on birth and death dates, children and birth and death places. LDS records show both William and Littleton as children.

Symes-8 and Sims-2161 appear to represent the same person because: Same parents, same spouse, same children. Sims is current name. Symes was English name before coming to America.
