Elmer H. Sims Kevin Drive
Elmer H. Sims, 86, of Kevin Drive, died Sunday afternoon, Nov. 15, 1992, at Columbus Regional Hospital emergency room.
He was a retired Marletta-area farmer and a member of Flat Rock Christian Church.
Funeral will be conducted at 1:30 p.m. Wednesday at Barkes, Willow and Weaver Funeral Home on Washington Street, with the Rev. Martin Arnett officiating. Calling will be from noon until service time Wednesday. Burial will be at Flat Rock Cemetery.
Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society.
Mr. Sims was born May 9, 1906, in Bartholomew County, the son of Henry and Rose Pickering Sims. He married Eleanor M. Reed Kelly Nov. 25, 1953. She survives.
Also surviving are a stepson, Ronald Kelly of New Jersey; and a brother, Joseph Sims of Columbus.
