A.Skidmore, and V E. R. Hancock, had been killed at the war.

A. Skidmore. Private Hector Allan Skidmore, aged 21 years, was a brother of Mr. W. G. Skidmore, of West Wyalong. His father was for many years Manager of the Lucknow Goldmine. Deceased was a native of Orange Coming to Wyalong about eight years ago, he resided here for six years, and then went to Queensland for about nine months. Returning shortly before the war broke out, he joined the Expeditionary Forces in September of last year. Deceased followed the pursuits of a miner and bush-worker. Honest, sober and industrious he won the high esteem and respect of all with whom he came in contact. (NOTE: NAA states Hector died between the 7th of August and the 14th of August 1915.
