Research Notes

Merge note:

Looking at the profiles in the MatchBot-proposed merge of Cash-290 & Cash-81, the merge seems appropriate, but this profile, which had been attached as the wife of Cash-290, appears to be a duplicate of the mother attached to Cash-81. Therefore, I disconnected this profile (Possibly_Skinner-1, for Elizabeth, born Scotland 1656) as the wife of Cash-290 and proposed a merge for her with Skinner-197 (mother of Cash-81). ~ Noland-165 12:11, 19 November 2017 (EST) (MatchBot MP)

in the merge, the Scotland birth location was retained, but looking at the changes, I think it should have stayed Stafford?

"Stafford, Stafford, Colony of Virginia" for birth had been marked as Certain.

I removed Cash-119 because he was born in 1732 way too late for mother and also the family was living in Westmoreland, Virginia when the other children were born whereas Joel was born in Amherst, Virginia. He may have been William Jr.'s son.
upon saving, received the following automated message:
Warning: Check the data.
  • A mother's birth date (Skinner-197 born 1655) should not be more than 67 years before the birth date of one of her children (Cash-119 born 30 Apr 1732) .

Possibly Skinner-1 and Skinner-197 appear to represent the same person because: death date/location is the same & whether born Scotland or Virginia can be discussed in text. Possibly-Skinner-1 is attached as wife to a duplicate profile of Skinner-197's son. I am disconnecting Possibly_Skinner-1 (Elizabeth, born Scotland 1656) and proposing a merge for her with Skinner-197 (mother of Cash-81, born Virginia 1655). Please merge. Thanks! Liz ~ MatchBot MP

Possibly Skinner-1 and Skinner-197 are not ready to be merged because: Possibly it may be the same Elizabeth Skinner Cash married to 2 different brothers. Mine is William, yours is Howard. I will do some research for documentation on her.
Skinner-197 and Possibly Skinner-1 are not ready to be merged because: They seem to have different birth places and different husband's. Needs more research.
Possibly Skinner-1 and Skinner-197 are not ready to be merged because: Because Elizabeth Skinner Cash was born in the US not Scotland and married to William Cash not Robert Cash, I don't believe they are the same person.
