When Lawrence Holley SKINNER was born on April 7, 1905, in Belleville, Ontario, his father, George Skinner, was 34 and his mother, Ida Shaw, was 30.[1] He married Irene M BAUMISTER Skinner in 1936 in Ohio County, West Virginia.[2] He died on November 13, 1985, in Springfield, Ohio, at the age of 80.[3]

I got to know "Uncle Lawrence" and Aunt Irene during a couple holidays, but got to know him personally when he moved in with his brother (my maternal grandfather) Norman Skinner. He was retired by then, and his wife had passed away.
He travelled the US as a alcohol salesman. I still have the glass miniature samples, and some specialty bottles that he gave away as promos. They are really cool.
