Rome Sentinel Thursday February 13, 1958 Mrs. Worden 89 dies in Utica

Mrs. Lillian S. Worden, 89, widow of Frank L. Worden, and a native and former resident of Barneveld, died Wednesday in St. Elizabeth Hospital, Utica, after a long illness. She had lived with her son, Claude S. Worden, 45 Tamarack Drive, New Hartford.

Lillian S. Skinner was born Jan. 25, 1869 in Barneveld, daughter of Robert and Josephine Green Skinner and was educated in the Barneveld and Holland Patent Schools. She was married Oct 17, 1889 to Mr. Worden in Barneveld. He died Dec. 20, 1921.

Mrs. Worden was a member of the Unitarian Church, Barneveld, and a charter member of Mappa Chapter, OES, and Barneveld.

She leaves the son, with whom she had lived since 1921; three sisters, Miss Edith E. Skinner, Miss Josephine M. Skinner, both of Barneveld and Mrs. Thomas J. Lewis, Chester, Pa., and nieces and cousins.
