Harry Skinner, 75, died at his home, 315 West 2nd, Wednesday morning after an illness of three weeks.
He was born June 26, 1887, in Oswego and came to Hutchinson 53 years ago. He married Maude Smith Oct. 12, 1908. Mrs. Skinner died last March 28.
Mr. Skinner had owned and operated a grocery store at Nickerson and had been associated with Dillon's, Sentney Wholesale Grocery Co. and Betts Bakery. In recent years he was employed by the Elks Club. He was a member of First Baptist Church.
Survivors: a daughter, Mrs. Johnson Fossey, Nickerson; a sister, Mrs. Ruth Zerbe, 521 West 14th; grandchildren; three great grandchildren.
Funeral: 2 p.m. Friday, Elliott Chapel, Rev. Marvin S. Hall; burial, Memorial Park cemetery.
