At the time of the 1880 United States Census, Nelson, Eunice Slade, and Frances Slade were living in Saratoga Springs, New York, along with Nelson and Eunice's daughter Mary Rowland and Mary's daughter Ada Rowland[1].
Nelson died in Saratoga Springs, New York on September 15, 1892, and was buried in Greenfield Methodist Cemetery, Saratoga County, New York[2].
