Beatrice Maud Slade was born in Parry Sound, Ontario on June 2, 1870.[1] She was the daughter of George Slade and Selina Guy.
At the time of the 1871 Canada Census, George, Selina, George, and Maud Slade were listed as living in Parry Sound, Ontario.[2]
At the time of the 1881 Canada Census, George, Selina, George, Beatrice, and Guy H. Slade were listed as living in Halton, Ontario.[3]
At the time of the 1891 Canada Census, George, Selina E., Beatrice, and Guy H. Slade were listed as living in Toronto, Ontario.[4]
Beatrice married William Leckie in Toronto, Ontario on May 23, 1894.[5]
At the time of the 1901 Canada Census, William H, Beatrice M, Harold S, Claud P, and William K Leckie were listed as living in Vancouver, British Columbia, along with a servant.[6]
At the time of the 1911 Canada Census, William, Beatrice, Claud, Harold, Keith, Duncan, and Walter Leckie were listed as living in Vancouver.[7]
At the time of the 1921 Canada Census, William H., Beatrice, Harold Slade, Claude Perrin, William Keith, George Duncan, Walter Alwyn, and Beatrice Joan Leckie were listed as living at 1176 Burnaby Street, Vancouver.[8]
Beatrice died in Vancouver, British Columbia on June 5, 1954,[9][10] and was buried in Ocean View Burial Park, Burnaby, British Columbia.[11]
