Horatia Slade was born on 15 October 1802, and christened in Portsmouth, Hampshire on 8 December 1802[1]. She was the daughter of James Slade and Cheney Roe.
Horatia's marriage to Daniel Capper was registered in Dursley, Gloucestershire in the third quarter of 1840[2].
At the time of the 1851 England and Wales Census, Daniel, Horatia, Emma Mary, and Horatia Louisa Sophia Capper were listed as living in Huntley, Gloucestershire, along with five servants[3].
At the time of the 1861 England and Wales Census, Danl , Horatia, and Horatia Lousia Capper were listed as living in Huntley, along with eight servants[4].
At the time of the 1881 England and Wales Census, Daniel and Horatia Capper were listed as living in Cheltenham, Gloucestershire, along with three servants[5].
Horatia died on 16 January 1884. Her death was registered in Cheltenham, Gloucestershire in the first quarter of 1884[6]. She was buried in St John the Baptist Churchyard in Huntley, Gloucestershire[7] on 22 January 1884[8].
