Biography

A marriage licence was issued on the 25th September 1744 for Ozias Ougham, widower of Seasalter, to marry Sarah Slater, single woman of Seasalter, at Seasalter[1].

On the 27th September 1744, Sarah Slater, and Little Ozias Oakham, both of Seasalter were married by licence at St. Alphege, Seasalter, Kent, England. Sarah was his first wife's sister...and now very pregnant[2].

Sarah, wife of Ozias, died in 1777 and was buried on the 9th November 1777 at St. Alphege, Seasalter, England[3].

Research Notes

Place of death has been assumed from place of burial, and the fact that her widower Ozias was resident when he wrote his will in 1779.
