Biography

Henry Slater was born in 1747 and died in1827[1] was married to (Elizabeth?) Ann Smith in MD before coming to NC. Henry was possibly the son of Thomas Slater who was a tenant of Carroll's Manor in Maryland in 1765. They had seven children:

In Elizabeth Goslin's will, dated 1802, Nancy Slater is named as the wife of Henry Slater.[2] In Elizabeth Goslin's Memorial Henry's last name is spelled Slator.
