Biography

Sir William Slingsby of Kippax, Yorkshire, served as MP for Knaresborough. He was married to Elizabeth, dau. of Sir Stephen Board.[1]

In 1617 he was the carver for Queen Anne, D. L., for Middlesex, England when he was in his 55th year of age.
