Biography

Commodore was born on 6 December 1857, the son of Joshua Slone and Elizabeth.^[1] In 1860, he was living in Franklin County, Virginia with his parents, Joshua and Elizabeth Sloan.^[2]

Commadore, son of Joshua and Elizabeth Slone, married Lydia M Green on 5 February 1878 at Franklin County, Virginia.^[3]

Commadore and his wife, Lydia Margaret, were residing in Franklin County, Virginia in 1880.^[4] Residing with them were Commadore's mother Elizabeth, and his sister and brother, Nancy A. and William T. Slone.^[4]

In 1900, though Lydia was listed as married and the mother of nine with all the children in her household, Commadore was not with them.^[5]
