Biography

Mary Elizabeth Slone was born about 1798 in Virginia.^[1][2][3][4] She was the daughter of Shadrach Slone and Winnie Unknown. Mary married Isaac Preston. Their children included the following:

Her true place of birth cannot be confidently stated for there are facts to state each has high possibilities of being correct. However, because she was listed as born in Virginia on both the 1860 and 1870 censuses, Virginia was used as Mary's place of birth on this profile.
