Thomas Small was born c. 1765 in Amherst County in the Virginia Colony. He married Elizabeth Burnett in 1790 in Patrick County, Virginia. Thomas died before 1820 in Wayne County, Kentucky.[1]
Thomas Small came to Wayne County, KY from Patrick County VA sometime before 1799. as he patented a tract of 150 acres on Sinking Creek bearing the date of Survey of 10 Mar 1799. Thomas was a Revolutionary soldier.[2]
