Biography

Eva Rekarda (or Rebecca) Small was born on 15th February 1881 in Tyndale via Maclean, New South Wales (Australia). She was the third surviving daughter of Henry Small and Sarah Hough. [1] She was a great granddaughter of First Fleet convicts, John Small (1761-1850) and Mary Parker (c1758-1824), Second Fleeter George Patfield (1763-1809), and 1793 convict arrival, Mary O'Brien (c1772-1853).

She passed away, aged 84 years and unmarried, on 31st October 1965 in Grafton, New South Wales.[2]
