Frederick was born on August 3rd, 1854, to Thomas and Mary.
He married his first wife Sarah on the 10th of February, 1876. They made a weatherboard home with a corrugated iron roof in Deep Creek, Ulmarra. The house had two stories, with the bathroom and kitchen previously being part of a separate building at the rear of the property.
In Ulmarra, they had two children: Lancelot and Edward. The family then moved to South Grafton, where they had another five children. Frederick ran a dairy farm for some time in Grafton.
He's reported to have saved a man from drowning in the swampland of Crows Nest.
After the death of Sarah, he remarried to Ella Sheppard in 1924. They would eventually divorce, and he would remarry once more to Annie Dixon in 1936.
He passed away on the 23rd of February, 1937.
There is a photo of Frederick in The Small Family in Australia 1788-1988, but it is under copyright until 2058 (at least) and therefore cannot be added to WikiTree yet.
