Mary was born in 1746 in either Nansemond, Suffolk, Virginia or Perquimans, North Carolina to Joseph Small and Ann Owens.[1]
Mary was a member of the Society of Friends (Quakers) and in 1760 she and Benjamin Albertson made a request to marry to the Perquimans Monthly Meeting in Perquimans, North Carolina.[2]
Benjamin died about 1801 and made a bequest to his wife Mary. Assuming that Mary had not died and her husband married a second woman named Mary, she was the mother of Benjamin's children.
Mary, wife of Benjamin Albertson, passed away in 1812.[3]
