Daniel Small was baptized on 25 November 1734 in Truro, Massachusetts[1].
He married Thankful Strout on 23 January 1761 in Falmouth, Maine[2]. They had eight children, the first six born in Cape Elizabeth and the last two in Raymond[3]:
1. George, born 1761; married 1st Lydia Strout, 2nd Dorcas Barton
2. Daniel, born 9 Jul 1763; married 1st Sarah Starbird, 2nd Mary Files
3. James, born 1767
4. Mary, born 3 Oct 1769; married Elijah Nash
5. John, born 1772
6. Simeon, born 1774
7. Levi, born 19 Jan 1781
8. Francis, born 1785
Daniel passed away on 1 January 1812 and is buried in Raymond Hill Cemetery[4].
