Biography

Sarah, daughter of John Smeigh and Mary M. Clouser, was born 4 July 1838 in Pennsylvania.^[1]

Jefferson Dec 17 1923: After a 3 years sickness of of a complication of diseases, and the infirmities of old age, Mrs. Sarah Stump, widow of Adam Stump, died today at 4:30 a.m. at the home of her daughter, Mrs. J. M. Klinedinst, near here, with whom she made her home. She was age 83 years, 5 months and 13 days.

Surviving are the following sons and daughters:

• Mrs. J. M. Klinedinst, near here;
• William Stump, Girard, Ohio;
• Charles Stump, Smith Station;
• Henry Stump, York;
• Mrs. C. E. Decker, York;
• Mrs. Charles Stambaugh, Westminster
• Josephine Golden, Harrisburg.

Buried in Jefferson cemetery.^[2]
