Biography
Anne was born on 9 October 1695 in Berkeley County, Province of Carolina. She was the daughter of Thomas Smith II and Anna Cornelia (VanMyddagh) Smith.
She married first James Lawson, who died about February 1716.
She married second Benjamin Waring and had children Benjamin (1723-1763), Thomas (d. 1764), Josiah, George, Sarah (m. Richard Waring [1723-1756]), Mary (m. Joseph Waring), Elizabeth (m. Joseph Brailsford), and Anne (m. James Postell).
Anne was buried 27 December 1738 age 43.
