Hannah Smith was born by about 1635 the daughter of William Smith and his wife Magdalena (Unknown surname). Hannah's brother, Nehemiah, deeded land in Jamaica to "my loving cousin John Carpenter of the same town" - Jamaica.[1]
John and Hannah (Smith) Carpenter had six children: John (b. 1658 Connecticutt), Ensign Hope (b. 1660 New York), William (b. 1662, New York), Ruth (b. 1664, New York), Samuel (b. 1666 New York), and Solomon (b. 1670 New York). Capt. John Carpenter’s son, Solomon (Senior), died before he did and was not mentioned in his will. However, Solomon had a son, Solomon Jr., who was mentioned and received his father's portion. It is through Solomon Sr. and Solomon Jr. that we descend. There is no record or mention of Solomon Sr.’s wife or mother of Solomon Jr. It will remain a mystery. Solomon Jr. was born in 1690 in Jamaica, Livingston Co., New York. [2]

Hannah Smith wife of John Carpenter, child of William Smith of Jamaica. If you agree, would you please attach this profile to father: William Smith-36298 and Mother: Magdalena (Unknown-516704) Smith Olmstead.
Thank you.
Or, it could more likely belong as the marriage date of their son John.
