Life in Medfield
Samuel so impressed the townspeople with his profession of faith on being received into communion that he was chosen deacon of the church. He served 21 years on the board of selectmen, nine years as town clerk, and was town treasurer for a time. And he was a representative to the General Court of the colony.[5]
