Ivy Sheldon Smith (married name Thompson, then Murphy) was born in 1898 in Echuca, Victoria, Australia, the daughter of Dorothea Jane Mary (Omond) Smith and Ernest William Smith.[1]
She married Walter James Thompson on 18 July 1916 in Surrey Hills, Victoria.[2] They had seven children.[citation needed]
Ivy married Frederick George Murphy in 1946 at the Salvation Army in Hurstville, New South Wales.[citation needed] They had three children.[citation needed]
Ivy died on 10 November 1967 in Melbourne, Victoria, aged 69 years.[3] Her remains were buried on 15 November 1967 at the Springvale Crematiorium.[citation needed]
