Biography

Pellitiah Smith,died Sept. 10, 1727.[1][2]


Pelatiah was a son of Michael and Johanna (-----) Smith.[3] likely at Malden, Massachusetts, where his father resided. A land record states, "Pelatiah Smith of Malden in same county Blacksmith son of the said Michael & Johanna Smith." [4]

Married 1) Sarah Unknown and 2) Jane Harris, widow of James Dunbar[5][3].

Death

Pelatiah died September 10, 1727.[3] His will dated 28 April 1727, proved 1 November 1727, mentions only his wife Jane and his son James. [8]
