Smith-77801 and Smith-3171 appear to represent the same person because: I think it is very likely that these are the same person. I have done a good deal of research on the families of Hunterdon Co and have recently come across records that show Samuel's son Phineas marrying Catherine VanHise by Rev William Frazier who was a pastor in the same area.I have also received records of a land purchase by Samuel Smith in Kingswood in 1776.
