Biography

Sarah Smith was born in Kent in 1798.

She married Shadrach Purton in New Brunswick, Canada in 1822.

They emigrated with their family to Tasmania in 1832,^[1] where they had a further five children.

She passed away in Westbury, Tasmania, in 1886.^[2]
