Biography

Anthony was born in 1866. He was the son of Martin Smith and Mary Malowney. He was born in Cloonconlan, in the Balla district of County Mayo, Ireland. He came to Pennsylvania and settled in Delaware County along with one of his sisters Margaret .

Anthony was a member of the AOH in Chester. He boutght a house for $1280. Later, he bought a house on Highland Ave. He passed away in 1931. He died of arthritis and is buried in Immaculate Heart Cemetery.[1]
