Biography
Jane was born in 1825. Her middle name is found as Skeoch and also Sheock - probably the result of illegible handwriting. What was the correct spelling?
Jane was listed in 1861 & 1901 censuses at Stranraer, Wigtownshire. She married James Alison (or Allison) and they had 4 children.
(The marriage appears to be shown on 6 July 1847 at Dairy, Ayr, Scotland... if those were in fact the same people: they are shown in the record simply as "James Alison" and "Jane Smith", with no middle names or other useful identifying information.)
